Getting started
What do I need to run Revly?
An iPhone running iOS 18 or later. If you have an Apple Watch or a car with CarPlay, Revly works there too — both are included, with nothing extra to buy.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Drives are recorded on the phone first, so a road with no coverage records exactly like any other. When you are back online the drive syncs on its own — you do not have to do anything to save it.

How do I export a drive?
Open the drive from your history and choose Export GPX. GPX is a plain, open format that mapping and analysis tools read, so the file is useful outside Revly as well.
Why does Revly need precise location?
A driving journal cannot draw your route without it. What Revly does with location changes by situation: nothing while you browse, a lighter mode for showing the map, and continuous only while you are recording a drive or sharing a convoy.

Your account
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. It removes the account and its data. You do not need to email us for permission, and there is no retention period you have to wait out.
How do I change units, language or the theme?
Profile → Settings → Appearance. Units switch between metric and imperial, and the theme follows the system by default. Revly is translated into ten languages.
People
How do I report or block someone?
Report and block are on posts, comments, stories and profiles — open the overflow menu on whichever one you are looking at. Blocking is immediate, and blocked accounts are listed under Settings → Blocked if you want to undo one.
What we expect from everyone is written down in the Community Guidelines.
Who can see my convoy location?
The members of that convoy, while it is running. Membership is checked on the server, so another app cannot add itself to a convoy in order to read positions.
Links and sharing
A Revly link opened my browser instead of the app
Two common causes:
- You tapped it inside another app. WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram open links in their own built-in browser, which iOS does not let hand off to an app. Use the browser menu to open the link in Safari, or press Open in Revly on the page you landed on.
- You installed Revly recently. iOS records which app owns a domain when the app is installed. If Revly arrived after that record was made, reinstalling the app refreshes it.
